Global Warming, The Tragedy of Modern Civilization

On June 5, 2007, countries around the world are commemorating the World Environment Day. Global warming resulting in climate change awareness yet to be advanced in multistakeholder. Global warming has become a major focus of the world community, particularly countries that experienced industrialization and high consumption patterns (consumptive lifestyles). Not many indeed who understand and care about climate change issues. Because many say, is that the environmental impact typically occurs accumulatively. At this point that environmental issues are often considered unimportant by many, the main recipient of the mandate power in making policy.

Global Warming Competition, to build awareness of global warming matter

The effects of global warming or the increase in average temperature of the earth's surface caused by the increasing amount of greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere had begun. Among the uncertain climate, extreme temperature rise in some regions, melting of polar ice caps causing sea level rise, increased intensity of storms, difficult access to clean water, the emergence of new diseases, and also the loss of 1000 species in a relatively brief.

who and why???

Because of the known science of the climate, scientists have discovered that in fact the earth's climate is always changing. The study of glaciations in the past, that climate change itself, and changed. What happens? Meteor falls? Variations on a hot day? Mountain, which erupted in a cloud of smoke? Changes in wind direction due to changes in the structure of the earth and ocean currents? Or because of the changing composition of the air? Or another reason?

Melting of the ice in the polar north & south

Global warming has a direct effect of the continuous melting of ice in the Arctic north and south poles. Melting ice in Greenland has reached nearly 19 million tons! And the amount of ice in the Arctic in the summer of 2007, only half or four years ago! The ice is melting much faster than ever before moving predictive models created by scientists. Some early predictions, which had run EstimatedRunTime polar ice caps will disappear by the year 2040 and the 2100th But by 2007, the annual Ice data obtained is a way to reconsider the model predictions and earlier.

Disaster a result Humans

The frequency of climate and weather-related disasters in Indonesia continued to increase in the last 10 years. Climate change is often the scapegoat. However, actual environmental management mistakes played a major role towards increasing frequency of disasters.
Review National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) in 2011 states, the trend of disasters in Indonesia increased from year to year. If in 2002 only recorded 190 disasters, in 2010 there were 930 incidents. In fact, the 2009 incident occurred 1954.

A result of global warming

Global warming is a very serious problem that we face on earth to this day. so the consequences of global warming is the destruction of ozone layer and climate change are uncertain.
Ozone is the Earth's mantle layer, which serves to protect the earth and its contents from ultraviolet light directly. You can imagine if there was no ozone layer that protects the earth, then there will be no cycle of life. If I may say the world will end.
