Indonesia became one of the major contributors to global warming by burning forests. However, global warming is a problem for all countries not just Indonesia. The fate of the earth is in the hands of every human being living on earth. Therefore, the necessary consciousness of every person to save the earth.

This competition will compete Cup State Minister for Environment and Sinar Mas Award with a total prize of 140 million rupiah.
Workshop and competition is expected to be a means for everyone to pour their creative ideas to support and campaign for prevention of increased global warming.

Minister of State for Environment, Rachmat Witoelar who attended the event tesebut said, this event became one of the important moments in the series of events to the UN conference on climate change on December 3-14, 2007 in Bali later.
State Minister of Environment expects, in due course the work of this competition can be used as a medium for environmental campaigning in Indonesia, either by the Ministry of Environment and other parties.
